As a pianist and piano teacher, Arne earns raves: outrageously enjoyable; infectious brilliance! He loves to teach junior and advanced students, also adults including senior citizens - combining high standards, fascination and fun (he was called “the Robin Williams of adjudicators” at a music festival.) He has been teaching since 1969. Arne composes in classical, ragtime and other styles, and is keen to work with young composers in private or group lessons. He has strong arts involvement in Cambodia and Hong Kong as well as Canada. He earned a Bachelor of Music (Performance with Distinction), also two Silver Medals and the Gold Medal of the Royal Conservatory of Music.
