Graduate of the Leeds Music College; the first European full-time jazz college. Licentiate of the Guildhall School of Music (London, UK). Member of the BCCT, BCTF, COTA and COMEA. (Central Okanagan Music Educators Association). Mr. Atherton’s college education covered jazz and classical music, giving him a broad spectrum of styles in which to work and teach. He offers trumpet teaching up to and beyond college.
